We now offer 1-1 private riding lessons with no experience necessary; riding equipment such as hats and boots are also available to hire at just £1 an item. Under the watchful eye and guidance of our experienced equine coaches you will be matched with our ponies or horses, developing a bond and positive relationship through spending time grooming, mucking out, preparing their feeds, learning how to tack up, have a riding lesson (optional), and meandering through our lovely fields and tracks.
A bookable experience at Thompson House Equestrian Centre for residential care homes, nursing homes and other organisations who want the people they care for to enjoy a meaningful activity with horses. And a cup of tea! Watch the horses being led around the arena in a display and spend time with them – unlocking memories and experiences.
The Pony Club is for children and young people from 8 years upwards and covers everything to do with horses and ponies. We have amazing facilities of both indoor and outdoor arenas and a beautiful farm track around the site.
